Delaware Police Investigating Crash That Sent 10 To Hospital

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Police in Delaware are investigating a three car crash that sent 10 people to the hospital, all of them with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Delaware State police say the crash happened Monday around 1 p.m. in Dover. Police say the driver of a 2000 Lexus was stopped for the red light on West Denny's Road before crossing North DuPont Highway when the driver of a 2002 Ford Expedition failed to stop behind her. The crash forced the Lexus into the southbound lanes of North Dupont Highway where it struck a Dodge van. The impact caused the van to roll over in the roadway.

Passengers in all three vehicles were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the Ford Expedition was cited for inattentive driving.
