Film Screening In West Philadelphia To Promote Latin America Film Festival

By John McDevitt

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The launch of an effort to promote Latin American films in Philadelphia takes place next Friday.

"Found Memories" by Brazilian director Julia Murat will be shown on April 13th at 7 p.m. at the International House in University City. The $30 price of admission includes a pre-screening reception, a post-screening discussion with the film's producer and an after-party.

The film is to get people enthused about next spring's Filadelfia Latin America Film Festival.

"The full festival will be in April 2013. This is a great way for people to get connected to our mailing list to our website so they can get information throughout the year for all of the events that we will be doing," says Bia Vieira, the co-director the Film Festival.
