DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) – At least one person was seriously injured in a crash involving two tractor-trailers and three passenger cars on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike near mile marker 21 in Deptford, New Jersey.

According to authorities, the crash involved three cars and two tractor-trailers. There were reports of at least one serious injury.

The accident closed all lanes of the southbound lanes of the Turnpike.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
