SEPTA, Fraternal Order Of Transit Police Reach Tentative Agreement

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA and the Fraternal Order of Transit Police have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract.

Under the agreement, SEPTA Transit Police will return to work beginning with tonight's midnight shift.

Terms of the tentative agreement will be withheld pending ratification by the union membership and SEPTA Board.

The went on strike last Wednesday and security had been handled by philadelphia police along with a private security company. (see related story)
