Caught On Tape: Suspect Robs South Philadelphia Cell Phone Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who caught on tape casually breaking into a cell phone store and stealing nearly $4,000 in cash.

The robbery happened at about 11 p.m. on March 25th at the Cricket Wireless store located in the 1100 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard near Penn's Landing.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store and casually walking to a back room that contained a safe. While inside the room, the suspect opened the safe and stole $3,700 in cash.

The suspect then strolled out of the back room, through the store and walked out.
