Rash Of Tire Slashings Spreads To Oxford Circle

By Jericka Duncan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating more tire slashings in Northeast Philadelphia. The latest incident happened on the 1200 block of McKinley Street in Oxford Circle. Authorities say nine vehicles were vandalized over this past weekend.

"I've been seeing it on the news; I've been following it. I was hoping it would never come to this block," said April Hutchinson, whose car was spared.

Police have not yet commented on whether or not they believe the incidents in Mayfair and Oxford Circle are related.
