Another Start For Bryzgalov As Flyers Go For 4th Straight Win

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Flyers are playing their best hockey in quite some time as they go for a 4th straight win tonight at the Center against the Florida Panthers.

Ilya Bryzgalov will make his 10th straight start in net tonight for the Flyers and it would appear that the veteran netminder is really rounding into form.  He followed up his shutout of the Capitals on Sunday with a brilliant 37-save performance last time out on Tuesday against Detroit.

The Flyers will be without forward Jakub Voracek tonight after he took that big hit in the win over the Red Wings.  Forward Jaromir Jagr is a game-time decision with that hip issue.

Flyers currently have 81 points, that has them sitting 3rd in the Atlantic Division and 5th in the Eastern Conference.

Florida leads the Southeast Division with 74 points and despite having 7 fewer points than the Flyers, they are 3rd in the conference because of their current status as a division leader.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Sam Carchidi, the Flyers beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, about the match-up.
