Funeral Plans Announced For 11-Year-Old Killed In Burlington County School Bus Crash

CHESTERFIELD, N.J. (CBS) -- Funeral plans have been announced for an 11-year-old Burlington County girl who was killed in a bus crash in February.

Isabelle Tezsla was killed when the school bus she was riding crashed into a dump truck on Route 528 in Chesterfield. The accident also sent her two twin sisters, Sophie and Natalie Tezsla to the hospital, along with Jonathan Zdybel, also 11. (see related story)

Sophie was released from the hospital a week after the accident, but Natalie and Zdybel remain hospitalized.

The Tezsla family will be holding a funeral service for Isabelle at the Church of St. Gregory the Great in Hamilton Square. The viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at which time the funeral mass begins.

Final disposition will be private.

In a statement released to media, the Tezsla family stated:

The outpouring of concern and support from the community, and extending to people across the state and the nation, has been an encouragement to the family during this trying time.

The National Transportation Safety Board continues to investigate the cause of the deadly crash. (see related story)
