Folcroft Police Ask Public For Help Capturing Sexual Assault Suspect

By Mark Abrams

FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in the Delaware County community of Folcroft are reaching out to the public for help in finding two men who attacked a woman who was out walking her dog near Warwick Avenue over the weekend in the borough.

Investigators say the woman in her 20s had just left her home with her dog about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when she was jumped by two men who dragged her into nearby bushes on her property.

Police say while one held her, the other pulled out a knife and began to sexually assault her. Police say a car and headlights coming down the street apparently scared the pair off and the woman ran back into her home.

Folcroft Cpl. Christopher Eiserman, from the detective unit, says police have now released a composite sketch of one of the men the woman says assaulted her.

"The one that pulled the knife on her was a black male, approximately 25 years of age, 6 foot tall with no facial hair and short-cropped hair."

Eiserman says police are reaching out to the public for leads.

"We're asking people if they recognize the composite sketch or have any information on this incident that the call the Folcroft police."
