WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Women's college basketball teams across the country have been raising money over the last couple of weeks for the fight against breast cancer by having Play4Kay games.
Today, West Chester University will be one of the school's holding a Play4Kay game. And while these games used to be known as "Pink Zone" games, West Chester Head Coach Deirdre Kane talks about the new name.
"It's in memory of Kay Yow, the legendary coach from North Carolina State who lost her long battle to breast cancer a year ago. Kay was beloved by many people across the nation. The foundation, the Kay Yow Foundation, was started in her name."
Last year, West Chester actually raised the second highest amount of money of any school in Division II for breast cancer research.
