Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car Near Cherry Hill Mall
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- A 77-year-old woman was struck and killed Wednesday evening in front of the Cherry Hill Mall.
Police are still investigating the incident but say a 26-year-old male was behind the wheel of a car going south on Haddonfield Road.
Police say the driver hit the unidentified woman who was walking at around 5:30.
She was then taken to Cooper University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities say the driver remained on the scene.
