WAYNE, Pa. Forty families in the tri-state area are on the receiving end of the generosity of the Great Guys Group, a Wayne-based organization that helps families battling cancer. This weekend they are delivering presents to six families and earlier this week they paid the bills for another three dozen families. “People are blown away that somebody who doesn’t even know them valued them and treats them as family and there’s a great appreciation,” said Isenberg.
He says the organization raises money throughout the year to pay the mortgage, rent, utilities and other critical bills that help keep families in their homes. Isenberg has seen it first-hand.
