Police: Pennsylvania Woman Chasing Loose Dog Fatally Struck By Car
EFFORT, Pa. (AP) -- A northeastern Pennsylvania woman is dead after she was struck while apparently chasing her loose dog.
State police believe Emilia Reimel was trying to catch her dog when she was fatally struck Sunday afternoon in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. She died at the scene.
Authorities say Reimel was struck by two vehicles driving in opposite directions.
