Drexel Outlasts Princeton, 64-60

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Chris Fouch scored 23 points off the bench and Drexel hit 10 of 10 free throws in the final 33 seconds to outlast Princeton 64-60 on Saturday.

The Dragons (3-4), who had lost four of their last five games, led 29-24 at halftime in their home opener.

After Fouch's 3-pointer gave Drexel a 54-47 lead with 4:45 to play, the Tigers went on an 8-0 run to take their only lead of the second half on a pair of T.J. Bray free throws with 1:45 left.

Princeton made a defensive stop, but a charge call on Ian Hummer turned the ball over. Drexel did the rest from the free-throw line, with Frantz Massenat 6 of 6 and Damion Lee 4 of 4 down the stretch.

Hummer had 18 points and Douglas Davis added 15 for the Tigers (4-6), who came in having won three straight after losing five of six.
