Build Your Own Bloody Mary At Main Line Restaurant

By Stasia DeMarco

Like to build things, but you're a foodie too? Well there is the perfect place on the Main Line where just about anybody can eat and be crafty.

Paramour restaurant, in the historic Wayne Hotel, has added Sunday brunch and at this particular brunch spot you are strongly encouraged to build your own Bloody Mary.

First, you hit up the bartender for a glass filled with your choice of vodka for the Mary or tequila for a bloody Maria. Then, executive chef Michael Giampa says, it's time to build.

"You can put as much Bloody Mary mix in as you like and then we have about 20 different hot sauces, Worcestshire sauce, pickled vegetables, pickled haricots, marinated shrimp, house made beef jerky and they can keep refilling their glass."

In addition, Paramour offers traditional brunch items and others with a new twist. But to hold you over while you're sipping your bloody, there is also an appetizer bar.

"We have items like smoked salmon; we have beet salad, carrot and curry salad, agua fresca, fresh cut fruit, fresh baked croissants, and pastries," says Giampa.

If that isn't enough to keep you busy before you eat, head over to the appetizer table for more to nosh on.

But when it comes to entrée selections, Giampo outdid himself with this one – unique lobster rolls!

"We make a really rich hollandaise sauce and toast the brioche buns, which is just so rich. And it is tossed with asparagus and then we add micro-cilantro and a little bit of avocado aioli. It's just over the top."
