PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Temple Owls bring a 7-4 record into Friday afternoon’s regular season finale against the Golden Flashes of Kent State.

It will be Senior Day for the Owls, the 19 members of their senior class will be honored with a pregame ceremony. This class is the winningest senior class in Temple history and the first to be bowl eligible in three consecutive years.

Last time out, the Owls beat up Army 42-14, rushing for 335 yards in the process.

Temple has won three of the five all-time meetings with Kent State, including a 28-10 decision last season. Running Back Bernard Pierce ran for 84 yards and a score in that game.

KYW’s Matt Leon sat down with the Radio Voice of the Owls KYW’s own Harry Donahue to talk about the match-up.
