UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (CBS) –– As the fallout continues from the child sex abuse charges levied against former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky (see related stories), the Nittany Lions football team will be getting away from State College this weekend, visiting Ohio State.

The Nittany Lions are 8-2 and coming off that 17-14 loss to Nebraska on an emotional Saturday at Beaver Stadium (see game story).  Ohio State is 6-4.

Last season, the Buckeyes won this matchup, 38-14, in Columbus.

Penn State interim head coach Tom Bradley has tabbed Matt McGloin as his starting quarterback.  Running back Silas Redd is dealing with an injury in the area of his collarbone and chest, but right now it looks like he will play.

KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with editor Mark Brennan about the Penn State-Ohio State matchup.
