Too Thin Should Not Be In

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Officials in France have been discussing going after websites that glamorize that women become ultra thin, basically rewarding anorexic tendencies.

There is a clear message and it's one that should be addressed in our country. The media; movies, television, print, and the internet, seem to be showing us thinner and thinner women and idealizing the images.

Take a look at a magazine, virtually any magazine, and you'll see a woman who is about at 50% weight for her size, with breast implants. The implants are necessary because it's not physiologically possible to be so underweight and not lose a large amount of fat tissue in the breasts. Now, this is bad enough, but then you take into account the fact that those who read the magazines and watch the movies are young and impressionable. The cycle needs to be broken.

In France, it appears the officials are about to make the move.
