Multiple NJ Towns On Alert After Series Of Burglaries

DELRAN, N.J. (CBS) -- Surveillance video from Hand and Stone Spa in Delran, NJ shows two men stealing cash drawers and casing an employee lounge around 2:45 a.m., Sunday morning.

Police say two nearby stores and another nail salon on route 130 were hit. The thieves were wearing hoodies, ski masks and gloves.

They got in and out in one minute, four seconds.

"They go right for the cash or anything small of value", says Detective Sergeant Jeffrey Hubbs.

Hubbs says detectives are comparing notes with Cinnaminson and Mt. Laurel after similar robberies there.

"It's possible the same person or persons could be committing these offenses", says Mt Laurel Police Chief Dennis Cribben.

Cribben says an officer on patrol early Saturday morning noticed the broken store front doors and also a car with its engine running out front.

"We thought we could catch them in there but they must have fled out the back", Cribben says.

He says the car was stolen earlier from Collingswood. All departments are urging people with any information to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact any of the following tip lines:

Mt. Laurel – 856-234-1414
Cinnaminson – 1-800-78-CRIME (27563)
Delran – 856-461-9610
