Mayor Redd Announces Safe, Fun-Filled Family Activities For The Halloween Weekend

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - Mayor Dana L. Redd of Camden announced on Friday a host of wonderful family-oriented activities that will take place on Halloween. The events are meant to make sure children in Camden are able to enjoy a fun and safe Halloween this year.

• City of Camden Halloween Costume Party – The City of Camden will host a Halloween Costume Party at Millennium Skate World. The first 350 Camden youth ages six and up who register through the Department of Human Services and bring at least one canned food donation will get a FREE admission, rental, pizza, soda, tokens & candy and prizes for best dressed. Once we go over the 350 threshold, you must pay to get in.

• Safe Haven Halloween – Crestbury Apartments Resident Coalition will host a block party as a safe haven alternative for the children of Crestbury Apartments. The event will take place from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. For additional information, please call 856-541-9710.

• Northgate I Annual Halloween Party – Residents of Northgate I Apartments will host their annual Halloween party for the children of the North Camden neighborhood from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
