Costume Experts Share Some Spooky Ideas For Halloween

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Halloween weekend is coming up? Do you have your costume yet?

Bobby Williamson with Pierre's Costume Shop expects to be slammed with customers this weekend looking for last-minute costumes.

"We run specials and promotions all the time. If people come early, they can get specials extra days - they don't use them."

Head designer Bobby Goodrich says, when folks do come, they usually bring with them some good ideas.

"Everywhere from TV and movies to popular books to things they see in magazines. Lots of people combine different looks, like we've done Titanic zombies and Amy Winehouse's ghost."

But you don't have to get complicated with your look. This man opted for a classic Superman costume.

"A cape, tights, shorts and the Superman symbol on the chest."

Kuznits: "You can't be all dressed up with no place to go."

"I'm going to a costume party. It would be kind of creepy if I sat at home and watched TV and didn't do anything."

Some folks have no choice -- they have to make the time to get to the costume shop.

"My wife told me I had to dress up for this party; I couldn't go in a suit anymore and call myself a businessman which is what I am."

What did he choose?

"I'm going to dress up as a warrior from the dark ages."

But elaborate costumes can add up.

"I think I spent $95 and I'm trying to rent an ax to make my costume complete."

Kuznits: "How much is too much to spend on a Halloween costume?"

"I think that's an individual question, you know for some people $100 might be too much, but for me it's fun."
