Multi-Alarm House Fire In Trenton Damages Neighboring Homes, Injures 3 Firefighters
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It took firefighters in Trenton nearly two hours to bring a multi-alarm row house fire under control in the 300 block of Gennesee Street.
The fire, which broke out just before 7 p.m., was in an unoccupied two-story row house.
Investigators believe the fire was triggered by a repairman doing soldering work on some pipes.
Several neighboring homes sustained heat and water damage.
Three firefighters had to be treated for heat exhaustion. All were released.
