38th Annual Greek Agora Food And Wine Festival In Cherry Hill This Weekend

CHERRY HILL, N.J (CBS) - The largest Greek festival in the Delaware Valley is underway in Cherry Hill. It is the 38th Annual Greek Agora Food and Wine Festival on the 600 block of Mercer Street and tens of thousands of people are expected to visit.

The festival benefits St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church.

"This Agora is a sharing. We are very, very proud to be American but we are also proud to be Greek. It's an opportunity for us to open the doors of our church as well as the doors of our heart!" explained Father Emmanuel Pratsinikis.

The food and baked products are made from scratch and with love. Arlene, Joan and Dolores stopped by to sample.

Arlene: "It was delicious...A-1"

Dolores: "We had mousaka, chicken, greek salad."

Joan: "First time I ever had Greek food. Loved it! Looking forward to coming back!"

They will have the opportunity. The festival, which boasts indoor and outdoor restaurants, an enormous bake shop, crafts jewelry and much more, operates from Noon until 1:00 a.m. until Sunday, October 9th.
