Coast Guard Searching For Missing Boater In Delaware River
PHILADELPHIA – The Coast Guard is searching for a man who fell off his boat near the Ben Franklin Bridge late Wednesday evening.
Iouri Lizourn was last spotted approximately 100 yards north of the Ben Franklin Bridge and 100 yards off-shore.
The Coast Guard began their search after they received a 911 call at 10:30 p.m. from Lizourn's son reporting his father fell into the water.
A Coast Guard 25-foot Response Boat -- Small crew from Station Philadelphia, an MH-65D Dolphin Helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., Pennsylvania State Police and Burlington State Police are searching for Lizourn.
