Glenside Man Accused of Shaking Down Ex-Girlfriend For His Sex Tapes

WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - A Glenside man is under arrest in Chester County, accused of trying to extort money from his former girlfriend by threatening to release what police say were secretly recorded sex tapes of the two.

West Whiteland Police say the Exton woman told them her former boyfriend, identified as Omari Listenbee, was threatening to post sexually explicit videos of her unless she paid him $3,000 in cash. She says he told her he would put the pictures on the Internet and send them to her Facebook friends.

"She had no knowledge of this (recording) whatsoever," said Detective Scott Pezick. "She was shocked and shaken up quite a bit when she found out."

Police set up a sting operation and arrested the 33-year-old man when he met up on Monday with his ex-girlfriend in a parking lot in St. Davids to collect the money.

When she handed him an envelope with the cash, he was handcuffed by police.

The charges include theft by extortion and invasion of privacy. Listenbee is now free on $7,500 bail.
