When It Comes To Baseball, Mayor Nutter And St. Louis' Mayor Slay Take Betting Seriously

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – With the Phillies post season getting underway against the Cardinals, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has made a sports wager with the mayor of St. Louis.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter is so confident in his Phillies that he's made a two-part wager with St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay. He says whichever team wins the series has to wear the other team's baseball cap during a day of community service.

Additionally, if the Phillies lose, Mayor Nutter will have to send some local Philly beer to St. Louis.

"I mean, unfortunately my good friend Mayor Slay is really not going to experience any of the microbrews in Philly because we're going win the series."

If the Phillies win, Mayor Nutter gets Budweiser from St. Louis adding he seems to have gotten the raw end of the deal:

"No disrespect but Budweiser just really can't stand up to any microbrewery here in Philadelphia so he'll send the Bud -- if I HAVE to drink it, I'm going wash it down with one of the Philly microbrews."
