Phillies Rally Trolley Hits The Streets Friday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Phillies will celebrate the start of the postseason today at lunch time with a mobile rally in Center City. Fans who are in the right place at the right time will get a fantastic treat.

It is called the Phillies Rally Trolley. It is a 33-foot-trolley, covered in the "With Love, Philadelphia XOXO" decor.

It will roll down Broad Street in Center City beginning at noon, with stops at Love Park, City Hall and in Old City.

"If you're in the right place at the right time, you'll see the Phillie Phanatic, the Phillies ball girls, the Phillies' announcers and other special guests," said Michael Harris, Phillies Director of Marketing.

Some include the Phillies' Scott Palmer and broadcasters Larry Anderson and Tom McCarthy.

Harris says another big bonus is free Phillies swag!

"We'll be handing out rally towels and other items. And it just a chance to start getting ready for what will hopefully be an exciting October."
