PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Residents and businesses in Jenkintown will get the chance to show off their Montgomery County community this weekend at Sunday’s Festival of the Arts.

Tucked between Abington and Cheltenham, Jenkintown boasts great restaurants, talent and artists. That will all be showcased Sunday between one and six in the afternoon as this year the festival offers more in the way of entertainment and activities for the entire family.

“Vendors have directly told me that they’ve gotten clients from the events that we’ve held here so there is a direct correlation to holding the event and seeing some positive feedback in terms of foot traffic and whatnot,” says Jenkintown Community Alliance executive director Ben Ginsberg.

Admission to the festival is free, but tickets are required for the popular brew tent. The festival, which features more than thirty artists and lots of local bands, has drawn large crowds in the past.
