Eagles Re-Sign Hanson, Cut Lindley

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - As the Eagles get ready for their season opener on Sunday in St. Louis, they continue to tweak the roster.

Today, the team announced they have re-signed cornerback Joselio Hanson to a two-year deal.

Hanson had been among the team's final roster cuts over the weekend.   He has appeared in 75 games with the Eagles since 2006, recording 182 tackles and four interceptions.

To make room for Hanson on the roster, the Eagles have released cornerback Trevard Lindley, who was a fourth-round draft pick in 2010 out of Kentucky.
