Three Killed In Robbery At West Philadelphia Grocery Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a triple shooting in the city's Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia that left three grocery store employees dead.

According to police, a married couple, Porfirio and Carmen Nunez, and Porfirio's sister Lina, all in their 40'a, all employees of 'Lorena's Grocery Store' located in the 800 block of N 50th Street, were transported to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania with gunshot wounds where they were pronounced dead.

Police say, a robbery attempt happened just after 8 p.m. when the family was attempting to close the store.

Sources say police are currently looking for two males in connection with the shooting.

Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the two suspects wanted in connection with this crime, they are considered armed and dangerous.
