Hundreds Bare It All For Annual Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Some Philadelphia city streets were clogged Sunday evening with people riding bikes with little or no clothes on. Why? It was the annual Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride.

It's been a few years since the bike ride started and it still draws the attention of unsuspecting civilians, At the corner of 5th and Market, tourists and townies alike gawked as hundred of nude bike riders careened through the intersection heading north. Tom was a first time rider. But he was still wearing undies.

"This is fantastic, it's very airy out, I think this is enough for me."

Kristin is a seasoned rider, having taken part last year. She was in the buff with some strategically positioned paint. She says the number of people taking part is incredible.

"A lot last year, and a lot this year again so it's really exciting."

The bike ride wrapped up at the Piazza in Northern Liberties where the bars welcomed the unclad and semi clad alike.
