National Constitution Center's Plans For 9/11 Anniversary Underway

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The National Constitution Center is wrapping up plans for a citywide commemoration of the tenth anniversary of September 11th.

David Eisner, the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, read from a unifying pledge that encourages the public to share their hopes, prayers and commitments for the future. Visitors to the Center will be encouraged to sign the pledge on Sunday, September 11th. The Center will be open early and admission will be free for first responders.

"Members of our community are going to be involved in one way or another with their memories and their feelings around this ten year anniversary of 9/11 and we want to create an opportunity for that experience to be a positive one," said Eisner.
