PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Northeast Philadelphia that left a man hospitalized.

The shooting happened in the 8800 block of Cottage Street in the city’s Holmesburg section.

According to investigators, an unidentified male was shot in the chest and arm inside a home on the block. He was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

So far, police say no arrests have been made and a motive in the shooting remains under investigation.
