Here’s a little insider info about rainy day golf for you to tuck away for the future: The Golf Course at Glen Mills has VERY impressive drainage. Played there yesterday after that prolonged downpour and tornado warning. Buckets came down. A half hour after the storm moved through, we were out on the golf course. The greens were dry and surprisingly fast, balls were not plugging and there were very few other problem spots. It was not the slog I had expected after that nasty storm. Thumbs up to architect Bobby Weed, Superintendent John Vogts and the staff there.
