Jerry Blavat Discusses His New Book With KYW Special Contributor Larry Kane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The hard rocking, and always exciting Jerry Blavat has written a book.

The Geator with the Heater is now an author, and nothing is held back in his book, "You Only Rock Once." It discusses all of his relationships from Sammy Davis, Dick Clark, and his friendship with underworld leader Angelo Bruno from the neighborhood.

"I got to tell you something, I grew up in a neighborhood where you knew everybody in the neighborhood. You never questioned what their business was. He was a complete gentleman. If I shake your hand, I shake your hand. If you do something wrong in front of me, then I'm not going to be your friend because you're jeopardizing the friendship that we had," says Blavat.
