Tall Ship 'Gazela' Hosting Weeklong Art & Music Fest At Penn's Landing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - An arts and music festival is going on today through Saturday aboard the tall ship Gazela, docked along Penn's Landing.
There are concerts, workshops, and performances on deck, and it's all to raise money for the Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild, the nonprofit organization that owns and cares for the Gazela, which is the oldest wooden square-rigger that actively sails in the US.
"There is a variety of different events, and they have tickets that range from five to 25 dollars," says Rebecca Goldschmidt, the event organizer. "There are also free times scheduled so that everybody can appreciate the art and get raffle tickets."

The art is displayed below deck -- modern pieces contrasting against the 110-year-old space. And Goldschmidt says they will be spicing things up with the "Naughty Nautical Show" on Friday night.
"Dame Darcy is a bit of a dark mermaid, and it's just going to be a lot of fun," she says.
