1 Dead, 2 Injured In South Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person was killed and two others were injured after a shooting in South Philadelphia early Monday morning.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight at the intersection of 5th and Sigel Streets.

According to investigators, a 25-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old was shot multiples times and is listed in critical condition at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. A 20-year-old was shot in the arm and is in stable condition at Jefferson.

Police say they are currently searching for a white Cadillac SUV that fled the scene after the shooting.

So far, no arrests have been made and a motive in the triple shooting remains under investigation.
