PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a homicide that took place in the city’s Germantown section Saturday morning.

Police were called out to a home in the 5000 block of Sheldon Street at about 9:45 a.m. In the rear driveway, police discovered a black female, approximately 25 to 30 years-old, shot once in the head.

Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene at around 10:08 a.m.

No weapons have been recovered and police have not made any arrests at this time.
