Center City resident Johnny McDonald swung by his area hardware store Sunday morning to pick up some plants for his wife Tiffany, when he was ambushed by the crew of the DIY Network’s “House Crashers.”
They were looking for the ultimate Phillies fan, and decided Johnny was their man. The crew offered to makeover the McDonald’s basement and backyard to reflect their love of the Phillies, and the homeowners quickly said an enthusiastic “Yes!”
On Monday morning, “House Crashers” host Josh Temple, former Phillies pitcher and current MLB Network analyst Mitch Williams and dozens of contractors knocked on the McDonald’s door and got to work.
