Man Hospitalized After Shooting In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in Montgomery County early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at about 3:30 a.m. in the 600 block of West Main Street in Norristown.

According to investigators, the unidentified victim was air-lifted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after being shot. The victim's condition was not immediately known.

So far, police have not made any arrests and a motive in the shooting remains under investigation.
