Suspects Sought In Robbery Of Delaware 7-Eleven

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are searching for two suspects who robbed a convenience store late Sunday evening.

The robbery happened at about 11:55 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located in the 3800 block of Governor Printz Boulevard in Wilmington.

According to investigators, the two suspects entered the store and one of the suspects displayed a handgun and jumped over the sales counter. The suspect then confronted a 44-year-old employee and demanded cash from the registers.

The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect.

As this was occurring, the second suspect removed several cigars from display and then fled the store along with the first suspect.

The clerk, as well as three others who were inside the store at the time of the robbery, were not injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years of age, 6'4"-6'5" tall, 160-180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, a black baseball cap and had a white cloth covering his face. He was also armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years of age, 5'9"-5'11" tall and 160-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black knit hat with white stripes, a white long sleeved t-shirt, dark shoes, black sneakers and he had a white cloth covering his face.
