The Twilight Wish Foundation, based in Bucks County, Pa., has granted her dream of traveling round-trip to California in the cab of a big rig. She won’t be able to drive because she doesn’t have a commercial license, but she will be riding shotgun.
And she says she plans to enjoy every minute of it.
“What do I expect out this? Meeting a lot of great people, seeing great country, just being me and having a happy, happy time,” she told reporters.READ MORE: 'I Thought I Was Done': Residents Of Trevose Mobile Home Park Pick Up The Pieces After EF-3 Tornado
Kirsch — born and raised in Georgia but now living in Merritt Island, Fla. — plans to meet up with seniors during her travels to let them know that they shouldn’t stop dreaming, because one day their dreams may come true.
The 17-day adventure will take Kirsch and her driver to 27 states, covering more than six thousand miles.
