Father, Son Both Crash Within Minutes On Pennsylvania Road
LANDISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Police say a father and son wrecked their motorcycles in separate crashes a few minutes apart on a central Pennsylvania road, leaving one dead and the other hospitalized.
State police say 21-year-old Anthony Cragles died early Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a bridge. A few minutes earlier, police say his 46-year-old father, Scott, had lost control in the same area and been thrown from the bike.
Scott Cragles is hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say alcohol was a factor in both crashes. Neither man was wearing a helmet.
