Soccer: Real Madrid Coming To The Linc This Summer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Great news for Delaware Valley soccer fans: the Philadelphia Union will host international soccer power Real Madrid in a friendly match at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, July 23rd.

This match will be part of the 2011 World Football Challenge.  First kick is set for 9pm.

The Union were originally scheduled to play Seattle on that date. That match has been rescheduled for October 8th, in Washington State.

Real Madrid will participate in a total of three games in the 2011 World Football Challenge.  Prior to their visit to Philadelphia, Madrid will make two stops on the West Coast, one to face the LA Galaxy at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on July 16th, and another to square off against Chivas de Guadalajara at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium on July 20th.

The Union will be home in Chester this Saturday, to host Chicago.
