Lightning Strikes For 2 Lucky Lottery Players In Southeastern Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A couple of lucky local lottery players have nice windfalls coming their way.

A "Cash 5" ticket worth $525,000 was sold at Wilson's Check Cashing in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.  It was the only jackpot-winning slip purchased for the May 17th drawing.  Its numbers -- 7, 12, 27, 35, 36 -- matched all five balls.

Yesterday was apparently a good day to play the lottery in the Delaware Valley.  In Montgomery County, a "Mega Millions" ticket worth $250,000 was sold at a Lukoil gas station in Hatboro, Pa.  It matched all five white balls -- 1, 2, 17, 25, 48 -- and was only the Mega Ball (45) short of the jackpot.

Both retailers will get a bonus for making the sales.  The Pennsylvania Lotter says neither winner immediately stepped forward.
