Philadelphia Union Rallies To Tie Los Angeles Galaxy

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) -- Danny Mwanga scored in the 84th minute to give the Philadelphia Union a 1-1 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday night in Major League Soccer.

Landon Donovan scored in the 24th minute for league-leading Los Angeles (4-2-5). Donovan has scored the Galaxy's last five goals, dating to a 3-0 victory over Portland on April 23.

A PPL Park-record crowd of 19,178 fans attended the game, though the Galaxy played without midfielder David Beckham. The English star stayed home to rest.

Philadelphia (4-2-2) is 3-0-2 at home this season.
