Philadelphia Teen Pleads Guilty in Heart-Attack Death of Robbery Victim

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 19-year-old Philadelphia man pleaded guilty today to murder -- murder by heart attack.

The victim, a 60-year-old pizza delivery driver, died during a robbery in which the defendants were unarmed.

Rasheed Caesar, the only defendant facing charges as an adult, has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and other offenses, admitting that he and three younger teens plotted the pizza robbery.

Caesar says he took the pizza when victim Jamie Orozco-Torres arrived, and prosecutor Leon Goodman says the fatal attack was on.

"One of the juveniles who has pleaded guilty in juvenile court to this particular offense ran up to him after the pizza had been taken and chased this gentlemen approximately 20 to 25 feet, which caused additional stress on his heart. That young man also hit the victim, causing him to fall, and he took 40 dollars from his person," says Goodman.

Another defendant took the victim's car as Orozco-Torres lay dying on the ground after suffering a massive heart attack.

Caesar will be sentenced later.
