Hasbro My3d

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - 3-d for your iPhone? Sort of. That's next on your tech support.

These days, the idea of getting a 3d experience is found everywhere from movie theaters to tablets. So it's no wonder that Hasbro came out with the My3d, which re-creates 3d visuals on your iPhone or iPod touch.

Basically, goggles attach to your iPhone or iPod and divide the screen in two. It looks kind of like binoculars. Then using special apps, you can watch content like an underwater exploration game or a 3-d look at Los Angeles. There are some shootings games and even a racing one.

Now, you might look a little weird while using it, and the jury is still out over whether this is more of a gimmick or a trend. For now, it retails for $35 and is available only at target stores.

Just be sure to give your eyes—and your iPhone—a break once in a while.
