SNAP Members Not Enthused About Pope's Beatification

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Not all Catholics are happy that Pope John Paul is one step closer to sainthood..

As the late Pope is honored in front of thousands in Rome, a group of protesters from the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests gathered in front of the Basillica of Saints Peter and Paul to remind the world about what they call the Vatican's silence when it comes to child sex abuse in the church.

"They take one guy out of one position where he is alleged to have abused kids; they put him in another position with more kids so he can abuse more kids."

Rich Green is one of the protesters. He says he was sexually abused by a priest, but now he wants the church to step up. SNAP organized protests in at least 70 cities around the country this weekend.
