Pennsylvania Tourism Office Offers A Convenient Way To Plan A Vacation

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - There's a new guide available to help you plan a vacation in Pennsylvania.

The Best of Pennsylvania tourism guide is a free publication available from the Pennsylvania Tourism Office which is part of the state Department of Community and Economic Development. Spokesman Steve Kratz says it can help you make the most out of a gallon of gasoline.

"It's perfect for the Pennsylvania family trying to plan a fun filled vacation without venturing far from home," said Kratz. "It breaks the state down into 10 tourism regions which is also a very convenient feature for planning a local vacation.

The guide includes drawings and descriptions of the top museums, best shopping experiences, wildest outdoor escapes and other must see sites.
